The 3-day demonstration is a feast for the senses – chefs will prepare culinary masterpieces using classic ingredients, whilst sharing their inspirations and favourite dishes. Chef Yip graduated with 3 scholarships from the Chinese Culinary Institute, she is now a dim sum chef at Yee Tung Heen, The Excelsior, Hong Kong. She is skillful in Chinese cuisines and dim sum production. In order to promote Chinese culinary arts, she has been participating in culinary activities including to teach a group of housewives the production of local snacks, and she constantly participates in media interviews and cooking demonstrations. She has recently won the Gold Award of the Open Category, Hong Kong Young Chefs Chinese Culinary Competition 2018.

The Best Match - Food Pairing Classes by International Culinary Institute (ICI) & Chinese Culinary Institute (CCI)

ICI and CCI will offer two seminars at the RBHK 2018, providing the best tips for food and Chinese tea / Sherry wine pairing as well as hit beverage pairing concepts. ICI & CCI alumni will prepare tasty food for the speakers while they are giving an insight into the “best match” and basic rules of food and tea / sherry pairing. The seminars are suitable for F&B practitioners and those who are interested to learn more about food and tea/sherry/beverage pairing.
