Best Spirits AwardsCo-organised with the Whisky Ambassador, RBHK will hold the 2nd edition of the RBHK Best Spirits Awards in 2017 to celebrate the hard work and success of the spirits professions.

The RBHK Best Spirits Awards aims to recognise spirits distributors who provide high-quality spirits for restaurants, bars and hotels in Hong Kong. Also, it aims to recognise the best whisky bar, cocktail bar, and whisky list frpm hotel & restaurant that provide their customers with the very best selection of spirits and cocktails available, and the professional assistance by recommending spirits or cocktails that best accompany their needs. All the spirits entries will be judged by a group of spirits experts from the Whisky Ambassador, as well as from the F&B professionals.

2017 Awards Categories
  • There will be 22 categories of winners, including:
    1. Best Single Malt Whisky – No Age Statement
    (with market price below HK$1,000)
    12. Best Asian Whisky – No Age Statement
    2. Best Single Malt Whisky – No Age Statement
    (with market price HK$1,000 or over)
    13. Best Asian Whisky – With Age Statement
    3. Best Single Malt Whisky – 12 Years or Under
    14. Best Brandy / Whisky Based Liqueur
    4. Best Single Malt Whisky – 13 to 20 Years

    5. Best Single Malt Whisky – 21 Years or Over

    6. Best Independent Bottled Whisky – No Age Statement

* Categories 20, 21, and 22 are only open to restaurants, bars, and hotels in Hong Kong and Macau to enter

Application Criteria – for Distributors

Your spirit is qualified to join the RBHK Best Spirits Awards if it fits the following criteria:
1. The spirit has to be available in any Hong Kong restaurant/bar/hotel in the past one year
2. The distributor is able to provide 3 bottles of each spirit for judging and showcase display

Application Criteria – for Whisky Bar/Hotel/Restaurant

Your bar/restaurant/hotel is qualified to join the RBHK Best Spirits Awards if it fits the following criterion:
1. A full whisky list, cocktail list, tasting flight promotion, canapé pairing promotion, and detailed restaurant/bar/hotel information have to be provided
2. Two tasting vouchers (HK$400 each) are required for judging use
