The Greater Bay Area as mentioned in the 13th five year plan is about to become connected by several major infrastructure projects due to complete within two years. The world’s longest sea crossing, the Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau bridge will reduce travel times and encourage trade between the east and west of the Pearl River Delta. The Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong Express Rail Link will reduce travel times between Hong Kong and Shenzhen to 14 minutes and Hong Kong to Guangzhou to 48minutes. These are just two projects there are many more, the result of which will mean more business and leisure travel throughout the area.
